Oncogenesis - When tumors are developing in the body, your condition is known as oncogenesis.

Oncologist - An oncologist is a doctor who studies oncology, specializing in research, diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and learning about new care techniques.

Oncology - Oncology is the study of tumors and their growth.

Oncology Nursing Specialist - An oncology nursing specialist has traditionally nursing training, but with advanced study in the branch of oncology (the growth of tumors).

Onset - A medical condition's onset is when it started.

Operation - In medicine, an operation is a surgical procedure used to prevent illness, treat injury, diagnose disease, remove dysfunction, or otherwise help a patient.

Opiates - Opiates are produced from opium or its derivatives and have a sedating effect on users. Today, the term also refers to other substances that have the same effect on the body, even if they are not produced directly from opium.

Opioids - Opioid is another term for opiate.

OSHA - The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is a government agency under the Department of Labor that protects employees by enforcing working codes and restrictions to promote health and safety in the work environment.

Oxygen - Oxygen is an element that is readily found in the air we breathe. The body needs oxygen to survive.
