Glossary - W
Wheezing - a high-pitched whistling sound that is produced during breathing if some part of the respiratory system has narrowed or become partially obstructed.
White Blood Cells (WBC) - the cells of the immune system. These cells are mainly responsible for defending the body against infection. Some white blood cells also play a role in inflammatory processes.
