This graph details malignant pleural mesothelioma susceptibility per 100,000 people, organized by country.  The United Kingdom has the highest rate of malignant pleural mesothelioma, with 8.2 pleural mesothelioma patients per 100,000 people in the country. Pleural mesothelioma is the most common form of the cancer, comprising approximately 70 percent of mesothelioma diagnoses. Patients often do not demonstrate symptoms of the disease until it has progressed to later developmental stages which can make diagnosis difficult.
