About Jeff Siegert
Dr. Jeff Siegert is a board-certified thoracic surgeon who received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine.
Siegert is based at Cape Cod South Surgeons in Falmouth, Massachusetts. He served in the U.S. Navy as a staff surgeon in a naval hospital in Okinawa, Japan, and the naval hospital in Oak Harbor, Washington.
He also completed a fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and worked with veterans at the VA Boston Healthcare System, where he served alongside Dr. Abraham Lebenthal in bringing the first intraoperative heated chemotherapy for pleural mesothelioma to the VA in 2015.
In 2016, Siegert and Lebenthal also explored how a national open-access phone triage improves veterans’ access to surgical advice from the VA.
Siegert also specializes in trauma and injury procedures.
