Dr. Jerald L. Cook is a board certified occupational medicine physician.

His work focuses on the physical, chemical, biological and social environments of the workplace and health outcomes of environmental exposures. He is currently the medical director of a health center. As a group surgeon for a U.S. Marine Air Control group, Cook provides care to active duty Marines and sailors.

Previously, he was the head of occupational health at the Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms. He is a member of the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, the American Academy of Clinical Toxicology and other notable industry organizations. Cook’s work with asbestos has included the evaluation of individuals for asbestos exposure, medical surveillance of exposed workers, assessing work sites and educating workers about the risks of asbestos exposure.

Cook has worked closely with industrial hygienists in examining job sites and exposure monitoring data to ensure workers’ safety and health.
