May Apply to You

Not sure where to start? Explore the types of support that may apply to your situation. You may qualify for more than one type of support

Options may be available to you that can help cover medical bills, travel, and out-of-pocket costs.

  • Asbestos trust funds
  • Legal compensation
  • Grants & VA Benefits

If you or a loved one can no longer work, several programs can help replace lost income.

  • Mesothelioma could qualify for expedited SSDI approval
  • Workers' compensation for those exposed on the job
  • Settlements can include lost wages and future earnings

Veterans make up roughly one-third of all mesothelioma cases. You may qualify for VA benefits regardless of when you served.

  • VA disability compensation
  • Aid & Attendance
  • VA health care

You may be entitled to compensation from the companies responsible for your asbestos exposure, and you can often pursue multiple paths at once.

Talk to a Patient Advocate About Your Financial Options

Most families don't realize how many programs they qualify for. One conversation can change that.

Speak with a Patient Advocate

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. Everything we do is free, the consultation, the guidance, and the ongoing support. Our Patient Advocates will help you identify programs you may qualify for, walk you through the application process, and answer your questions at no cost to you.

A Patient Advocate will reach out to you, ask a few questions about your diagnosis and situation, and then help identify which financial support programs may be available to you. This can include programs such as asbestos trust funds, VA benefits, SSDI, or compensation through legal claims. From there, it's up to you to decide how you'd like to move forward.

Many families do. For example, a veteran diagnosed with mesothelioma could be eligible for VA benefits and multiple asbestos trust fund claims, all at the same time. More than $30 billion has been set aside in asbestos trust funds alone. A Patient Advocate can help you understand which combination of programs applies to your specific situation.

Not at all. Most people who contact us aren't sure where to start, and that's exactly what our Patient Advocates are here for. You don't need to have any paperwork ready or know the details of your exposure history. Just share what you can about your diagnosis and we'll help figure out the rest.

Absolutely. In fact, many of the people who contact us are spouses, adult children

, or caregivers reaching out for a parent or partner. Your Patient Advocate can work with you directly and help coordinate support for your loved one, whether they're currently in treatment or you're exploring options on their behalf.
