We sought compensation after my husband got sick because it was related to mesothelioma, and it did help. It took a while to come through, probably about a year and a half. By the time we received some of the compensation, we already had a lot of expenses, especially with all the trips to Houston. It helped us pay bills that had been piling up, and it also allowed us to travel for his care.
