How do you find a mesothelioma lawyer?

We’re looking into lawsuits and trust funds but it’s overwhelming. Has anyone here gone through the process? How did you find a lawyer and how long did it take?

I remember feeling the same way at first. It was a lot to wrap my head around. The last thing I wanted to do was interview a bunch of different law firms and do like this shopping around as such, but I did want a couple of the best options. I actually ended up working with a patient advocate to help me find a select few of the top firms that I could then pick from. I think the best thing you can do is try to give yourself a couple of options for comparison and then make sure you don't jump into an arrangement that you haven't thought through. Don't feel pressured. Go with your gut. Ask yourself who can I in good faith have sitting next to me that I know will represent what I need?

It is best to hire a national trial law firm that focuses their practice on representing individuals diagnosed with mesothelioma. Once you have contacted a national asbestos trial law firm, they should immediately send an attorney to meet you, sign a contract, and obtain authorizations to begin working on your case.
