Is anyone else having a hard time eating during treatment?

Has anyone dealt with appetite loss during treatment? I’m barely eating and not sure what actually helps.

Loss of appetite is very common during mesothelioma treatment, especially with chemotherapy or immunotherapy. Nausea, taste changes, and fatigue all contribute. Eating small, frequent meals, ideally high in protein, and staying hydrated can help. Your care team may also recommend medications that reduce nausea or stimulate appetite if needed. If appetite issues persist, ask about meeting with a dietitian who has experience working with cancer patients—they can help tailor a plan to make sure you’re getting the nutrition your body needs during treatment.
