Lawyer and on-site legal advisor Joe Lahav explains whether you have to go to court for a mesothelioma case.

The first thing that people need to understand is, in most cases, you're going to settle long before trial. Most of these cases do not go to trial. They're settled before court. Secondly, there are processes and programs that make this a little bit easier for most people. You don't usually have to go to court. A lot of the the conferences that you can do can be done likely or via Zoom. A lot of times you can meet your lawyers. Again, telephonically, so you don't have to go to court very often. And and it's a very rare occasion where you end up going to trial. So if people are worried about getting up on stand in front of a judge or jury, they don't usually have to worry about that either.
