Why Would You Recommend Patients and Family Members Join The Mesothelioma Center's Private Facebook Group?

[MUSIC PLAYING] When you're newly diagnosed with cancer or any type of disease, it is so important to have a group behind you. It is so important to have like-minded people, like-minded individuals that may be going through the same thing that you are too. If you're looking for a group, and you've been recently diagnosed, or a family member, it is a great way to get started with meeting other the people with joining the Facebook group. The mesothelioma's Facebook group is a private group. And it's for caregivers, patients, and family members who are going through some type of mesothelioma. It is a great group to join because you can talk with like-minded people, bounce different ideas, get advice, get different treatment options that you may have not even known that was out there. But it is a great way to connect with others that is going through the same thing that you are going through. One of the things that I notice and that I noted all the time is when I was first diagnosed, I knew of no one who had mesothelioma. I didn't even know anybody that had cancer either. So it kind of felt like I was alone. I was going down this road with a small, teeny flashlight. And it was dark all around me. But being a part of a group such as the Mesothelioma Center Facebook group, it is a great way to meet others. And so you will know that you are not alone in this. [MUSIC PLAYING]
