How Were You and Your Attorney Able to Figure Out Your Asbestos Exposure?
Kim Madril, a pleural mesothelioma survivor, explains how she and her attorney were able to figure out how she was exposed to asbestos.
He sort of dove right into it. And said, well, Kim, you, you know, that the cause of mesothelioma is asbestos related And I said, I'm I'm aware of that now. Yes. And he said, let's talk about where you think you may have been exposed. How are you you know, god this horrible disease. And I said, and he said, kinda take me back to your childhood where did you grow up? And and he could have been very very, like, cut and dry about it, but it was it was sort of a conversation. I mean, I was sort of he wasn't interviewing me as such. He was just he was taking me back, sort of a reflection type of a thing. He had me think about it, and he also was able to say, Hey, look, Kim, this is a a big deal. It's it's something that you you need to be sure about. And, I thought that that helped me to have confidence and who would represent me because it's not like they're suggesting something that it was really it came from me, not from them or him.
