What is a Deposition?
Asbestos attorney Jim Kramer explains what a deposition is.
[MUSIC PLAYING] A deposition is a process where a court reporter is involved and lawyers ask the client certain questions about things that happened far in the past. It's done under oath. And the client's attorney will be right there with them, making sure that everything goes according to the correct way. At the end of the deposition, the client's attorney then will have an opportunity to follow up and ask their own questions. [MUSIC PLAYING]
