She helps patients access important financial resources and works with cancer centers and physicians to support the organization’s mission. Pam previously served as a thoracic nurse navigator at Miami Cancer Institute in Miami, Florida, where she guided patients through complex cancer care.

    Karen Selby
    Karen Selby is a registered nurse and board-certified patient advocate at The Mesothelioma Center at Asbestos.com. She joined the organization in 2009 and helps patients and families connect with resources. Before joining The Mesothelioma Center, Karen worked in thoracic surgery, caring for patients undergoing complex lung procedures and supporting surgical teams.
