Lessons From Survivors on Navigating Mesothelioma as a Women

Our panel of experts — mesothelioma survivors Tamron Little and Priscilla Wayterra, along with licensed mental health counselor Dana Nolan — will explore a range of topics about what it means to be diagnosed with mesothelioma as a woman. Topics will include:

  • Priscilla Wayterra
    Priscilla Wayterra was diagnosed with peritoneal mesothelioma in 2024, just a few years after overcoming breast cancer. Doctors discovered it during an appointment to investigate her symptoms. After undergoing surgery, Priscilla is now navigating life as a mesothelioma survivor and is committed to sharing her story to inspire others.

    Tamron Little
    Tamron Little was diagnosed with peritoneal mesothelioma in 2007 at just 21 years old. She underwent successful surgery, HIPEC and radiation therapy. Now, after nearly two decades of surviving with mesothelioma, Tamron shares her experiences to support others with this rare cancer.
  • Dana Nolan, mental health counselor and the Mesothelioma Center's monthly support group host
    Dana Nolan, MS, LMHC
    Dana Nolan, MS, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor who leads The Mesothelioma Center’s monthly support group. She specializes in working with people affected by cancer. Dana has experience with inpatient and outpatient counseling, and clinical research in the U.S. and Australia.
