The Mesothelioma Center is proud to host Women With Mesothelioma: Real Talk With Survivors, featuring two mesothelioma survivors and a licensed mental health counselor who moderates our support group for survivors and caregivers. They’ll share their personal stories, helpful advice and emotional support to help guide women on their journey with this rare cancer.

Our panelists will discuss their firsthand experiences with the unique challenges women face with mesothelioma. Diagnosis, treatment, identity, motherhood and mental health can all be complicated for women with mesothelioma.

Panelists’ Backgrounds

Tamron Little
Peritoneal mesothelioma survivor

Tamron Little was diagnosed with peritoneal mesothelioma in 2007 at just 21 years old. She underwent successful surgery, HIPEC and radiation therapy. Now, after almost 20 years of surviving with mesothelioma, Tamron shares her firsthand experiences to support others with this rare cancer.

Dana Nolan, MS, LMHC
Mental health counselor

Dana Nolan, MS, LMHC, is a licensed mental health counselor who leads The Mesothelioma Center’s monthly mesothelioma support group. She specializes in working with people living with mesothelioma. Dana has experience with inpatient and outpatient counseling, as well as clinical research in the U.S. and Australia.

Priscilla Wayterra
Peritoneal mesothelioma survivor

Priscilla Wayterra was diagnosed with peritoneal mesothelioma in 2024, just a few years after overcoming breast cancer. Doctors discovered it during an appointment to investigate her symptoms. After undergoing surgery, Priscilla is now navigating life as a mesothelioma survivor and is committed to sharing her story to inspire others.
