About Carl Money

D. Carl Money has devoted his career to fighting for workers and their families. For more than 20 years, he has served as a trial attorney in the U.S. and U.K., representing people diagnosed with mesothelioma.

He served as general counsel in the Texas Legislature, shaping laws to help those harmed by corporate wrongdoing. He also served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve Judge Advocate General’s Corps, providing legal support to wounded soldiers.

Money earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies at Austin College. During that time, he also studied abroad for a year in Vienna, Austria. Money received his Juris Doctorate from Golden Gate University Law School, where he studied abroad in Prague and won the American Jurisprudence Award for Appellate Advocacy.

Licensed in Texas, New York, England and Wales, Money belongs to multiple legal associations across the U.S. and U.K. He fights corporations that put profits over people and has spoken worldwide on asbestos litigation. Texas Monthly named him a Super Lawyer in 2006. Outside law, Money owns a boutique winery with his wife and 4 children in Texas Hill Country.
