William A. Davis is a licensed attorney specializing in complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis in health care disputes, at the Law Office of William Davis. He also serves as senior counsel at The Peterson Firm based in Washington, D.C.

Davis earned his juris doctorate from Columbia Law School in 1987. During law school he was an editor of the Columbia Law Review. Following graduation from law school, Davis served as a law clerk in Baltimore to Chief Judge Alexander Harvey of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.

From 1988 to 1996, Davis served as an attorney in the Washington, D.C., office of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, an international law firm, where he specialized in complex commercial litigation.

From 1996 to 2020, Davis served as an attorney at Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, an international law firm, where he was chair of the Washington litigation practice and specialized in complex commercial litigation and health care disputes. Davis has litigated disputes for Fortune 500 companies, and he was named a Washington, D.C., Super Lawyer.

In 2020, he founded the Law Office of William Davis, specializing in complex commercial litigation.
