About Stef
Stef Rivera Martinez graduated from the University of West Florida after moving to Florida from Puerto Rico in 2006. She is bilingual and worked for a decade as an office manager.
During her 10 years in office administration, Stef prioritized exceptional customer service and patient care. She applies those same principles as a Patient Advocate at The Mesothelioma Center, providing resources and helping patients and their loved ones navigate the health care system.
She also worked as an intensive case manager for the nonprofit organization Miracle of Love. Established in 1991, the foundation assists patients with HIV and AIDS in Central Florida. While working with Miracle of Love, Stef had her first experience helping people with lung diseases.
