Joey Rosenberg is a staff researcher and content writer for The Mesothelioma Center, where he strives to spread awareness and understanding of mesothelioma and other asbestos-related diseases.

A proud alumnus of the University of Central Florida, Joey holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a focus on Technical Communication. He has more than seven years of professional experience writing online and for Orlando’s publishing industry.

Joey’s diverse editorial background began at FirstMonday, a monthly magazine formerly published by the Central Florida Partnership. As an editorial assistant with FirstMonday, Joey wrote and edited articles on a wide range of topics, including Orlando’s economic growth and development, community leaders, emerging companies and regional news.

Joey has written and edited content for print and online media. He also has freelance experience in technical writing and document design. While attending the University of Central Florida, Joey performed editorial duties for Pegasus, the official magazine of the UCF Alumni Association. He gained extensive copy editing experience working with 14 island-specific versions of LIME magazine, a leading Caribbean telecommunications company’s source of product information and entertainment content.

Since joining The Mesothelioma Center in 2011, Joey has written news posts, blogs and informational articles on a wide range of medical topics, including the latest breakthroughs in the research, diagnosis and treatment of asbestos-related diseases. Drawing on his background in technical writing, Joey enjoys helping patients and their loved ones grasp complex topics that go hand-in-hand with a mesothelioma diagnosis.
